About me 🌺

Hi! I'm Virginia, a Technical-Scientific English Translator graduated at IESLV Sofía Broquen de Spangenberg (aka Lengüitas) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I view translation as a vital link between worlds, facilitating a global dialogue where ideas can travel freely, regardless of the border or the language. I am also an English language teacher (CELTA certified). I help students enhance their English level mainly in academic and business contexts.

I focus my translation work on areas that require a both cultural and technical sensitivity: social sciences, humanities and arts. I consider my profession a commitment to lifelong learning, constantly specializing to ensure that I meet today's linguistic needs with responsibility and care. 

My curiosity for human connection is not limited to English language and culture. I also study Italian and Mapuzungun (the language of Mapuche peoples); I believe that every new language expands our understanding of the world and of other beings.

When I'm not translating, you will likely find me on stage! I am a professional bellydancer and teacher specialized in dance history and folk styles. Bringing together my two biggest passions—language and dance—is one of my favorite parts of this journey, allowing me to approach every project with a unique, multicultural perspective.
